Pagan Pride Day 2008 will take place in the Los Angeles County/Orange County area in South El Monte, at the Meadows in Whittier Narrows Park, 751 South Santa Anita Ave., on October 5. Take the Pomona Freeway (CA 60) and exit Santa Anita Ave.
- From I-605 (travellers from Orange County/Long Beach, or from Whittier/Lakewood): 605 North, exit CA 60 Westbound towards Los Angeles and follow the CA 60 Westbound directions on the next line.
- From CA 60 Westbound (travellers from Pomona/Covina/San Bernardino): Travel on the 60 past I-605, Santa Anita is a couple exits after that. Drive down the ramp, turn left onto Santa Anita Ave. If you cross Rosemead, you went too far.
- From CA 60 Eastbound (travellers from Los Angeles, San Fernando, Pasadena): Travel on the 60 past downtown and past I-710, exit Santa Anita (after CA-19 Rosemead Ave.), drive down the ramp and turn right onto Santa Anita Ave. If you cross I-605, you went too far.
The park entrance will be on your right. The Meadows is a semi-enclosed area (you'll see the fence) inside the park very close to the freeway, kind of between the freeway and the north lake. Hopefully, we'll be able to post directional signs, or just look for all the activity. Parking is $4. Come on by on October 5 from 10 AM to 5:30 PM for shopping, networking, prizes, bands, rituals, workshops, activities for the kids, and fun.
