Helping Families in Need

Pagan Pride Los Angeles “adopted” two families last December through Su Casa (visit their website)– a resource center for people who have had to leave abusive homes. With the help of Z Fabrique Long Beach, Z Fabrique San Pedro, The Eye of the Cat, The Dragon and The Rose, Cauldron Kitty, The Green Man Store, and Practical Magicka (who all served as collection points), we collected almost everything our families needed, and just in time for the holiday season. Long Beach Women's Spirit also donated $50 directly to Su Casa. Karen Tate contributed three whole bags of cleaning supplies. Many other people helped out anonymously as well. Our thanks go to everyone who contributed.

Su Casa families come to the shelter with little or no belongings. They have to start over, and we are glad we could make their holidays a little brighter.
