See the pictures, re-live the event Special thanks go to our entertainers, workshops leaders, and authors. This year we awarded the first The Pagan Pride Community Service Award, to recognize the person (or persons) who have made a positive impact on promoting religious diversity and tolerance, particularly paganism through education, community outreach, communication, etc. For 2006 that person was Willow Harvestmoon. Willow Harvestmoon owns and operates Crystal Cauldron, a metaphysical store in Pomona. Through her store, she offers the Pagan community a variety of rituals, classes, presentations, and social events, for all paths. Willow also organizes Pacific Circle, an annual Pagan camping retreat. Willow gives back to those in need by participating in prison ministry activities. She also educates the public by speaking about Paganism in various forums, including college classes and City Council meetings, and by operating booths at local multicultural festivals. Willow represents our community well by maintaining positive working relationships with law enforcement, local politicians, and neighboring business owners.
This year's workshops included DragonMother's "Magickal Uses of Woods", Debbie's "Chakra Cleaning", Sabina Magliocco's "Roots of Italian Magic", Alfred Surenyan's "Raising Energy Chants", Vaishali's "You Are What You Love", Tony Mierzwicki's "The Magic of Alexandria?", Morgana Rae's "Financial Alchemy", Bill Maxwell's "Coyote Wisdom: a look at indigenous traditions of the past and future:, Donald Michael Kraig's "The Secret of the 8th and 9th Chakras", Ed Fitch's "Elemental Magic", and Brian Ewing's "Discussion group and Q&A: Nonprofit formation and other legal topics." Authors included Denise Dumars, Karen Tate, Ed Fitch, Donald Michael Kraig, Tony Mierzwicki, Selene Silverwind, Vaishali, and Morgana Rae. Performers included Shahla of Oojam and L A Tribal, Kali's Lotus, HUTCH, Akasha, Lust 4 Nightmares, Bob Knows Best, League Of Vampiric Bards, and Hauk See you in 2007! |
