The 2007 Pagan Pride Community Service Award recipient was Yvonne Conway. Yvonne has served as the the First Officer of the Orange County Local Council of the Covenant of the Goddess (CoG) and the National Public Information Officer for CoG. She volunteered to organize OCLCs first Summer Solstice Festival. Currently with CoG Yvonne is working together members from OCLC and Touchstone Local Council (San Bernardino) to host Merry Meet 2008, a Pagan event that encompasses many events over several days including workshops, lecturers, vendors and entertainment as well as the CoG Grand Council. Yvonne has been an organizer of both the Orange County Pagan and Witches Meetups since 2003. For three years the Orange County Pagan Meetup was the world's largest Pagan meetup. Because of her connections with both Meetup and CoG she is regularly asked to conduct interviews for newspapers, magazines, radio shows and TV to speak about Wicca and Witchcraft, to bring awareness and help dispel misconceptions.

We also held a poster contest and sold the winning poster, designed by Dawn Wolf, at the event. Dawn Wolf is a free lance artist who enjoys telling stories in her artwork. She is a student at Pasadena City College and hosts her artwork at different locations throughout the year - from her school campus to the San Diego Comic Convention. "Art is magic, the creation of something from nothing" embodies how Dawn feels when drawing her artwork and she uses that as a personal quote in her life.
